Prague, April 24, 2014 – finalists of this year’s prestigious show Manager of the year 2013 was announced Vladimír Finsterle, owner of Pears Health Cyber . This award is special as he has acquired it in a year when he (after fifteen years) has decided to make a crucial step: at the head of his company, which was led from the start as a family business, he hired a professional manager so he could separate the director’s and owner´s role. This huge step was followed by fundamental changes in the organization, professionalization of leadership team and a new definition of the core business. V.Finsterle is still involved in these processes as leader for strategic marketing.
Newly -controlled company has now completed the first year of the new model and it also has first results. „In the last year we managed to quickly introduce modern management methods as well as tools for managing the company. Corporate culture has been strengthened by improving communication, we have accelerated personal responsibility and motivation of employees. Over the past year we have made a lot of crucial steps: we redefined the strategic goals and objectives of the company including missions and visions. We reorganized the top management level including merging divisions and promoting talents for senior positions. The role and responsibility in the management of finance and administration has been redefined as well as PR, internal communications and HR. New departments were established: department of Business Development, Operations and Strategic Marketing. We have centralized purchasing, modernized logistics, optimized management of foreign branches etc. We have opened a new stone pharmacies, launched a new website. The business results for 2013 showed an increase in turnover of 20 % and a significant improvement in profitability. He himself placed in the same competition in the Top 10 in 2007 and the following year he won the Excellent manager of a small company, all for a successful managing of LEGO Company in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
